The Five Love Languages Gift Guide

2 Feb

According to marriage counselor and author Gary Chapman, there are five ways to express love.  These five “love languages” are words of affirmation, acts of service, receiving gifts, quality time and physical touch.  People express love in all five ways, but they usually have a primary language that means the most.  Understand your loved one better by knowing their primary love language.

Valentine’s Day is coming up, and we know how hard it can be to find the perfect gift.  Wrapsody can help!  Follow the link below to take the Love Languages quiz, and then we will point you to the perfect gift.

Here’s the quiz!

Words of Affirmation

Those three little words mean the most to her.  Tell her how much you appreciate everything she does.  She would love to receive a Two’s Company mug, available with different messages.  For a friend, choose a sweet and simple heart-shaped plaque.

Acts of Service

She has a big heart and will love a gift that also helps others.  The Giving Keys employs people transitioning out of homelessness.  Every necklace is unique and carries a message.  When you meet someone who needs encouragement, you give them your key, and the message lives on.

Receiving Gifts

She is sentimental and appreciates gifts that are thoughtful and personal.  Lenny & Eva is a great line that allows you to build your own bracelet with a message or quote.  She’s sure to treasure it!

Quality Time

For this person, quality time spent together is the best gift of all.  Plan a surprise date night or weekend getaway and cherish the memories always with this burlap photo album.

Available in store and online:

Physical Touch

She enjoys the little things.  The perfect date night for her is a cozy night at home with a bubble bath and a romantic comedy.  We recommend everyone’s favorite cozy socks from World’s Softest Socks and a Linnea’s Lights Candle.
