Isn’t it about time for a sarong?

27 Mar

Hello Wrapsody friends!

We hope you’ve been enjoying this beautiful weather as much as we have! There’s nothing in the world like the first weeks of spring, when a bright sunshine and cloudless skies give a taste of the upcoming season. And there’s no doubt it will be here soon. Sometimes I’m tempted to believe that we’ve totally skipped spring and have violently launched into full-out summertime! And I don’t mind.

With summer comes summer clothing and summer accessories. Oh, how I love a day by the water! Pool, lake or beach- it doesn’t matter, just give me a swimsuit and a chair by the water (and maybe a strawberry daiquiri) and all will be well with me.

One of my very favorite summer accessories is a sarong. There’s something so classic, elegant and feminine about the way it covers up in just the right way- and without covering up too much. But a big mystery (and intimidation) to womankind has always been how to take that simple, square piece of fabric and tie it on your body to look just like it does in magazines and on TV. Well, we’ve got the answer, and it’s simpler than you ever thought!

Vera Bradley’s sarong for this seasons is super adorable, and we’re going to teach you how to tie it in less than 10 seconds…or maybe five! Read on to get the scoop.

1) Place the sarong around your body, back to front, like a towel.

2) Take the two ends of the sarong and criss-cross them over your bust.

3) Tie in a knot at the back of your neck.

The end.

Yes, it’s really that simple. Don’t you want to sport your sarong now? Come in to Wrapsody and check out Vera Bradley’s sarongs available in Island Blooms, Camellia and Very Berry Paisley! Summer will be here before you know it!

Lots of love,

The Wrapettes
